The Schneider Corporation is pleased to announce the acquisition of qPublic, a GIS and CAMA data corporation, based in DeLand, Florida.
The acquisition creates one of the largest organizations of its kind in the US. It also expands Schneider more significantly in the Southeast part of the country and adds a new office in Florida.
The qPublic team, brand, and clients will be incorporated in Schneider’s E-Government and Technology division, and will operate as an integrated business serving over 500 local government clients in 28 states. The popular qPublic web portals and recently launched IDAM™ (Integrated Damage Assessment Model) tool will become part of Schneider’s growing e-government suite of solutions that includes Beacon™, Permitting™, Agland™, Draincalc™, Fleet™, Geogear™, and Ripple™.
In addition to the staff, two of the qPublic owners will also join the Schneider team, expanding our software development, customer service, and account management teams.
qPublic was founded in 1999 by former county property appraisal and website development professionals who saw the need for retrieval needs of public records, as well as damage assessment. For 15 years, qPublic has been the leading provider for web-based solutions for data delivery.
