For this new 36-acre park in Carmel, Indiana, The Schneider Corporation conducted a public planning process and prepared a master plan for the property.
The park includes active recreation, passive natural areas, as well as infrastructure to support visitors.
Schneider prepared construction documents for Phases I, including infrastructure and ballfields, as well as Phase II, which included a pavilion, restrooms, playground and trails. The playground was custom designed to incorporate stone elements, to hearken back to the site’s quarrying past. A park pavilion with seating for 60, restrooms and a storage garage were designed for the site as well.
Finally, Schneider was on site throughout all phases of construction to assure that contractors followed the plans. This assured that both technical and aesthetic aspects of the design were executed as planned.
