Victoria Schneider Temple - CEO
Victoria Schneider Temple serves as the C.E.O. of The Schneider Corporation. She is a third generation owner of Schneider. Temple is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where she earned her B.A. in government and international relations and concentrated in the Hesburgh Program in public service. She also is a graduate of Ohio Northern University School of Law where she earned her J.D. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana and is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association. Currently, Temple serves as an executive board member on the Indianapolis Parks Foundation Board of Trustees. She also serves on the Cathedral High School Board of Directors and the Our Lady of Mount Carmel School Council. Temple previously served on the Saint Theodore Guerin High School Executive Council and was a member of the Junior League of Indianapolis. She is a 2011 graduate of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in public services series.
J. Barry Schneider, PE - Chairman
J. Barry Schneider, P.E. joined The Schneider Corporation in 1990 as a project manager for the government and utility markets and is currently a third generation owner. This has allowed him to be extremely involved in the day-to-day operations of the company, as well as an advocate for Schneider’s clients. As an owner and company chairman, Schneider helps to carry on the company’s corporate culture. It is extremely important to him and the rest of the Schneider family that the company’s first-rate reputation be upheld by continuing to provide excellent service to its customers and by also providing a family-oriented work environment for its employees. As a project manager, Schneider led the team that developed one of the early highly accurate utility GIS systems which has been recognized with several state and national awards. Passionate about Servant Leadership, Schneider has served on the planning committees for the 2008 and 2012 Greenleaf Center’s Annual International Servant Leadership Conferences. He has spoken about Servant Leadership domestically as well as in Iceland and Holland (at The Hague).
Schneider received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He currently serves as the Chair for the Scecina Memorial High School Board of Directors, and on the Executive, Strategic Planning, Facilities (Chair) committees. Schneider also serves on the Board of Hamilton Southeastern Utilities, Inc., Sanitary Management & Engineering, Inc., and Hoosier Environmental Solutions, LLC.
Mark Titus – COO
Mark Titus joined the board in 2011 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in July 2013. Titus oversees all aspects of the company’s business operations inclusive of strategic planning, investment planning, operational efficiencies, financial functions, and business execution. Titus received his B.S. in industrial management (with a minor in industrial engineering) from Purdue University, and his M.S. degree in industrial engineering from Iowa State University. Most of Titus’ career has been in the high technology field of data communication, most recently as one of three Division Presidents for twtelecom. He previously has held various management positions at Deere & Co., Procter & Gamble, Sprint Communications, and Metropolitan Fiber Systems. He enjoys finding ways to utilize “technology” as a tool to facilitate new and more efficient methods of operations. Titus also enjoys coaching youth athletics (primarily soccer and basketball) and focusing on his large family. Titus is a member of the Schneider Corporation’s Board of Directors, the Guerin Catholic High School Governing Board, and he serves on several committees at Guerin Catholic High School.
Jeff Corns, GISP – Executive Vice President, GIS and Marketing
Jeff Corns, GISP, is the Vice President of Schneider’s technology and e-Government businesses. He also leads corporate marketing for the company. Corns is an entrepreneurial technology executive that has been a leader in the geospatial and e-government market for over 15 years.
In his career with Schneider, he has helped expand and diversify the company’s geographic and vertical markets, including leading the successful acquisitions of ProMap Corporation (2005) and qPublic (2014). During his tenure, the company has launched several of its most successful products, including Beacon™, Permitting™, Agland™, Draincalc™, Ripple™, and Geogear™. Corns has worked with hundreds of public and Fortune 500 clients across the country in areas of land records, facilities, utility and infrastructure, E911, commercial and not for profit.
Prior to joining Schneider in 2002, Corns was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Corporate Treasurer for ProMap Corporation in Ames, IA. He received his B.S. in Geography from the University of Iowa. Corns is a Certified GIS Professional (GISP) and has spoken at hundreds of events on topics ranging from efficient local government operations, geospatial technologies, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and e-government. He has served on a number of commercial and non-profit boards, including the ProMap Corporation, the GISCI Review Board, Iowa Geographic Information Council Board (Vice-Chair and Treasurer), Indiana Geographic Information Council Board (Treasurer), and the IUPUI Graduate Advisory Board for MS in GIS.
Scott Stephens – Executive Vice President, Engineering and Surveying
Scott Stephens brings more than 20 years of diverse experience in the civil engineering and information technology industries. With a strong history working both with and for governmental and private agencies, Stephens’ multi-disciplinary expertise includes operations management, product management, business development, sales and marketing, and acquisition integration. In his leadership role at The Schneider Corporation, Stephens works closely with the executive management team to analyze current technology trends and market demands to strategically plan projects and deliver innovative solutions for our clients. Stephens holds a BS in civil engineering technology from Purdue University and a MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Thomas Mahon, PS – Director of Survey
Thomas Mahon, PS brings over 30 years of diverse experience in the surveying, civil engineering, and GIS industries working with state and local governments, municipalities, private companies, and utilities, performing surveying and asset inventories. With a strong history working with such entities, Mahon’s multi-disciplinary expertise includes operations management, project management, and the application of various technologies to better meet the needs of these clients. In his leadership role at The Schneider Corporation, Mahon works closely with Engineering and Technology leadership, as well as the Executive Vice President of Engineering to help implement best practices and applications of leading edge technologies consistent with market demands. Mahon holds a BS in surveying engineering technology from NJIT and an MSCE from Purdue University.
Ali Malek, PE – Director of Engineering
Ali Malek brings over 25 years of experience, working with local and federal government, municipalities, and private companies, performing design and project management. The highlight of his previous responsibilities have been the development and implementation of procurement strategies and contract negotiation for design and construction of facility delivery and development, facility operation and maintenance management, project quality control investigation, project budgeting/scheduling, and value engineering. Malek has provided leadership in development and implementation of asset management inventory for facility system-wide and published business plans for future scheduled upgrades. Malek holds a BS and MS in civil engineering from the Univeristy of Louisville.
Chris Carson – Chief Financial Officer
Chris Carson oversees all aspects of the company’s financial operations as Schneider's Chief Financial Officer. He received his B.S. in accounting from Butler University and is a licensed CPA in the State of Indiana. Most of Carson’s career has been spent working with closely-held businesses in a variety of industries. He previously held management positions as both a public practitioner with Watermark CPA Group and in a corporate finance organization with maxIT Healthcare. His passion is serving others, and he enjoys fostering a collaborative environment in order to help organizations overcome multi-faceted challenges and improve processes while considering the impact of decisions on all stakeholders.
